Alasdair Cooke, Director

BSc (Hons), MAIG

Alasdair Cooke has over 35 years experience in the mining industry with over 20 years managing public resource companies.  Alasdair is a qualified geologist with a track record of successful exploration and project development. He is the founding partner of Mitchell River Group and has been involved in the establishment of several successful mining projects including greenfield mines in Australia, Africa and South America. Mr Cooke is a Chairman of African Energy Ltd, Chairman of Alma Metals Ltd, Executive Director of Caravel Minerals Ltd and Non-Executive Director of Aurora Energy Metals Ltd.

Bill Fry, Director

Bill Fry has more than 25 years corporate experience in the mining and resources industry, specialising in finance, management, business development and general corporate activities. He has vast experience in project evaluation and development, project funding, management, finance and operations. Over the past 15 years, Mr Fry has been a Director of several private and public companies with activities ranging from funds management, minerals exploration and mining.

Mr Fry is currently a Director of Eve Investments Limited, Aurora Uranium Ltd and Mitchell River Group Pty Ltd

Dr Frazer Tabeart, Director

Ph.D. BSc (Hons), MAIG

Dr Frazer Tabeart is a geologist with over 30 years international experience in exploration and project development, with a strong technical background in porphyry copper-gold systems, orogenic gold and energy minerals.

He has served on ASX-listed Company Boards at Executive level over the past 18 years. Frazer is a Director at Mitchell River Group, and current Managing Director of Alma Metals Limited and Non-Executive Director of PolarX Limited. Dr Tabeart graduated from the Royal School of Mines in London and is a member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists and the Society of Economic Geologists.

Lauritz Barnes, Director

BSc (Hons), MAIG

Lauritz Barnes is a geologist with over 25 years experience, specialising in 3-D geological modelling and resource estimation, project evaluation and development. He is a member of both the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) and the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (AIG).

His initial roles were for BHP Minerals (now BHP) at the Cannington Ag-Pb-Zn Mine in Queensland and with the exploration group based in Perth, Western Australia. He set up his own consulting company in 1999 and began working with Mitchell River Group as a geologist.  Specialising in resource estimation and project evaluation, he has consulted over the years to numerous ASX, TSX and AIM listed companies.

Recently, his primary consulting and advisory roles have been to a number of ASX listed companies including Pilbara Minerals, Caravel Minerals, Centaurus Metals, Australian Vanadium, Anax Metals and Aurora Energy Metals. Commodities covered in these various roles include lithium, gold, copper-gold, nickel, uranium, vanadium, base metals (Ag/Pb/Zn), graphite , mineral and garnet sands, rare earths and coal.
